Job description

AXG is partnered with a growing owner/operator in the Energy sector who is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to support the configuration, administration and continued optimization of Workday. This individual will serve as a functional Workday resource across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, IT and Finance.

The position will support Core HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking and Scheduling, Payroll, Position Management and Talent Acquisition. It will also participate in the future implementation of Advanced Compensation and provide functional support for workforce planning through Workday Adaptive Planning., * Configure and administer Workday business processes, eligibility and validation rules, notifications, security assignments and related system settings.

  • Support Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking and Scheduling, Talent Management, Position Management and Talent Acquisition processes.
  • Support annual Open Enrollment, including configuration, testing, production readiness, data validation, issue resolution and post-enrollment reconciliation.
  • Partner with Payroll on system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, processing support and reconciliations.
  • Maintain job profiles, positions, recruiting templates, approval workflows and related Talent Acquisition reporting.
  • Participate in the implementation of Workday Advanced Compensation and support merit, bonus and compensation-review cycles after deployment.
  • Support workforce-planning processes within Workday Adaptive Planning, including testing, reporting, data validation and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate Workday releases, system enhancements, integrations, data loads, unit testing, UAT and production deployments.
  • Build and maintain reports, calculated fields, audits and recurring data-quality controls.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Gather and document business requirements, configurations, testing results, procedures and training materials.
  • Provide functional support and training to HR, Payroll and other Workday users

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive HRIS experience, including hands-on Workday support or administration.
  • Experience supporting Core HCM and multiple functional areas such as Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Talent Acquisition or Compensation.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring business processes and supporting system enhancements from requirements gathering through production deployment.
  • Experience developing test scripts, coordinating UAT and supporting Workday release cycles.
  • Working knowledge of Workday reporting, calculated fields, security, data privacy, audit controls, EIBs and integration concepts.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Pro accreditation or relevant Workday certification.
  • Experience implementing or administering Advanced Compensation.
  • Experience supporting Workday Recruiting, Talent Acquisition or Position Management.
  • Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning and workforce-planning processes.
  • Experience supporting Benefits Open Enrollment and Workday Payroll or Time Tracking.
  • Experience operating in a complex, growing or project-driven organization.
