Job description

Serves as the top-level technical expert responsible for the design and development of client/server environments. Develops client/server strategies and the infrastructure designs necessary to support those strategies., * Develop client/server system strategies and the infrastructure designs necessary to support them.

Advise on the selection of technology purchases related to processing, data storage, data access, and application development.
Establish standards for the organization’s client/server relational database structure, including SQL, Oracle, Sybase, and similar technologies.
Advise management on the feasibility of potential future projects.

Network Integration and Engineering

Provide technical expertise and assist with network integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments.
Address and resolve complex technical problems related to the installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems.
Document engineering standards and lead the development of network architecture, engineering designs, and changes.
Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.

Technical Analysis and Collaboration

Interface with customers, vendors, and other technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements.
Evaluate current and emerging network technologies, conduct technical assessments, and make recommendations to the Chief Engineer.
Solve complex problems involving multiple variables.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science [Required].

Experience

7 years of relevant experience [Required].

Certifications

IAT Level II certification [Required].

Clearance

TS/SCI clearance [Required].
Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly [Required].
