IT Systems and Automation Specialist

Alpenventures UNGUIDED is seeking a broad IT generalist to combine internal IT support with systems improvement, automation, and technology projects. You will work directly with different areas of the company to understand business needs, improve processes, automate repetitive work, evaluate new technologies, and implement practical solutions.

This is not a traditional ticket-based helpdesk position. You will often be given a business problem rather than a predefined technical solution and will be expected to investigate options, recommend an approach, and help implement it., IT projects, systems improvement, and automation

• Work with team members to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Translate business needs into practical technical solutions
• Build and implement automations, integrations, and internal tools
• Evaluate new software, AI tools, and platforms and recommend appropriate solutions
• Improve and document existing digital workflows and systems

IT security and documentation

• Support the creation, documentation, and maintenance of IT security policies, access controls, and basic compliance procedures

Internal IT support and systems administration

• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Microsoft Office Applications
• Microsoft Teams Phone
• V2 Cloud Remote Desktop
• User and device troubleshooting
• Hardware and asset management

We do not expect candidates to already know every platform we use. We are looking for someone with strong general technical ability, initiative, curiosity, and the ability to learn new systems quickly., * Reliability, discretion, and trustworthiness

• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Proactive approach to identifying problems and proposing improvements rather than waiting for tasks to be assigned
• Ability to identify business needs and translate these needs into technical requirements
• Strong English communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• General technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new applications, platforms, and online tools
• Comfortable researching unfamiliar technical problems independently and testing potential solutions

Experience with several of the following would be valuable:

Practical experience using AI tools to improve workflows or automate work

Web Development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)

WordPress

API integrations and working with web services

Basic internal web app and script development (Python)

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Microsoft Teams Phone System
• SharePoint
• Power Automate
• Power Apps

Zapier and other automation platforms

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience implementing technical solutions, automations, integrations, or process improvements in a business environment
• Legal right to work in Germany

· Professional references may be requested later in the selection process

• Working Location: Remote within Germany or Munich office; occasional presence in Munich may be required
