Job description

You’ll be working across network design, implementation and migration, with a particular focus on Meraki, Cisco Nexus and Palo Alto technologies. The role is primarily onsite in Birmingham and will also involve international travel as required., * Support the design, implementation and migration of network infrastructure

Work across LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi environments
Configure and support Cisco Nexus switching infrastructure
Work with Cisco Meraki networking and wireless solutions
Support Palo Alto firewalls and network security infrastructure
Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical resolution
Produce and maintain network documentation and technical designs
Support network migration and implementation projects
Work with wider infrastructure and technical teams to deliver changes safely
Travel internationally to support network deployments and project activity

Requirements

Strong commercial experience as a Network Engineer/Network Infrastructure Engineer
Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus
Strong Cisco Meraki experience
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi
Experience delivering network migrations, implementations or deployments
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in complex enterprise environments
Willing and able to undertake international travel
