• Work involves supporting IBM Sterling Commerce application.
• Need 2+ years of experience with supporting Sterling Commerce.
• Work involves support and DevOps related tasks, not much of development, Description: The Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce. SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multi-platform roadmap. Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications. Areas of responsibility include:* Experience supporting IBM Sterling Application* Develop Batch Jobs using Java and SQL.* Troubleshoot business and production issues* Alerting and Monitoring Subject Matter Expert (Splunk, Dynatrace, and other Enterprise Logging Tools)* Develops Innovation strategies, processes, failover experience* Experience in driving high availability across multiple applications* Act quickly to analyze the available data and find the root cause of the problem when issues with the product arise* Develop a solution themselves or pass the problem on to other engineering team members

all the while providing users with progress updates.* Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance.* System and Production Support status reporting.- Influence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactively- Supports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being met Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce Software development- 2+ years of experience with Supporting /Developing IBM Sterling Commerce- 5+ years of experience with Open Source technologies- 4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must- 2+ years of experience with integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture Additional Preferred Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, Business Support, Computer Science, Data Analysis, DevOps, Failover, High Availability Software, High Throughput, IBM Product Family, Identify Issues, Information Technology & Information Systems, Java, Multiplatform/Cross-Platform, Open Source, Performance Management, Production Support, Root Cause Analysis, SQL (Structured Query Language), Software Administration, Software Development, Software Engineering, Splunk, Strategic Planning, eCommerce, eCommerce Software (B2X)
