Job description

A busy school in St Albans, Hertfordshire is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join its technical team.

You will provide day-to-day technical support across the school, helping staff and students resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.

The successful candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and a patient approach to supporting non-technical users.

Responsibilities include:

First-line technical support
Troubleshooting hardware
Supporting classroom technology
User account administration
Software installation
Equipment maintenance
Network troubleshooting
Logging support requests
Supporting IT projects

Requirements

Previous educational experience is advantageous, although relevant commercial IT support experience will also be considered
