IT Technician - St Albans

The successful candidate will assist staff and pupils with day-to-day technical issues while supporting the maintenance of the school’s hardware, software, network, and classroom technology., * Provide first-line technical support to staff and pupils.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults.
• Install and configure computers and peripheral devices.
• Support interactive displays, printers, audiovisual equipment, and classroom technology.
• Assist with user accounts and access permissions.
• Maintain records of IT faults and completed support requests.
• Assist with network and system maintenance.
• Monitor IT equipment and report replacement requirements.
• Support software updates and security procedures.
• Provide guidance to users on appropriate use of school technology.

• Previous IT support or technical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
