Job description

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

Proven experience as an IT Platform Engineer with strong proficiency in Python.
Ability to manage the complete software development lifecycle, from solution planning and design through development, testing, and automated deployment.
Strong experience in object-oriented programming, analysis, and design, preferably using Python.
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including storage, access management, networking, and related services.
Good understanding of data governance practices, including Databricks Unity Catalog.
Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases; knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB is an advantage.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Good understanding of incremental software development, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
Experience applying SOLID principles and software design patterns to build maintainable and scalable solutions.
Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and its practical application.
Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as pytest and mocking libraries.
