Senior Data Analyst

A global sports, media and technology business is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join its growing analytics team and help understand how millions of digital users interact with its products and content.

This is a highly analytical, SQL-heavy role focused on customer, audience and digital behaviour. You’ll work with large-scale datasets to understand user journeys, engagement, audience segments and account behaviour, while increasingly moving towards Product Analytics, experimentation and A/B testing.

You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering and Data teams to ensure the right tracking is in place, analyse the impact of new features and turn complex data into clear recommendations that improve the digital product.

• Strong, hands-on SQL skills - working with millions of rows of data
• Experience analysing customer, user, audience or digital behaviour
• A background in digital, consumer technology, media, subscription, e-commerce or similar environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with experimentation, event tracking or user journeys
• Excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to work as a generalist

Nice to have:

• BigQuery / GCP or another cloud data warehouse
• GA4
• Looker or other BI tools
• Python
• Product analytics / CDP experience
• An interest in using AI tools such as Claude Code to improve analytical workflows
