Job description

We are seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to help establish and maintain the systems engineering foundation that supports multiple complex development programs. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who is highly organized, technically curious, and motivated to learn systems engineering while contributing to mission-critical programs.

You will be responsible for administering and maintaining systems engineering artifacts, ensuring technical consistency across engineering teams, and helping enforce design processes, standards, and best practices. Working closely with systems engineers and technical leads across multiple disciplines, you will help ensure that requirements, models, design artifacts, verification evidence, and technical decisions remain organized, traceable, and aligned throughout the system lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop broad exposure to spacecraft, ground systems, and mission operations while building a strong foundation in modern systems engineering practices., Aerospace * Artificial Intelligence * Computer Vision * Software * Analytics * Defense * Big Data Analytics Build and integrate secure AI assistants and chatbots into geospatial intelligence and mission-support applications. Develop LLM workflows using RAG, prompt orchestration, tool calling, and conversational context; connect AI services to enterprise data sources and APIs; and enforce access controls, provenance, auditing, and safety measures. Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes and OpenShift, including classified or disconnected environments, while evaluating AI quality, security, latency, and usability.
