Staff Electrical Engineer 4 (Data Center)

We are seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to support the design and execution of mission-critical data center projects. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical engineer with strong AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM expertise who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with both project teams and clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing large-scale data center facilities, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements while delivering resilient and reliable solutions. This position offers the opportunity to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate. Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design of large-scale data center electrical systems.
• Deliver project assignments within established budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Incorporate project requirements, schedules, and budgets into electrical designs and layouts.
• Evaluate and communicate design considerations related to redundancy and resiliency.
• Conduct field investigations, surveys, and facility assessments.
• Prepare and review technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Review models, drawings, and production work while resolving technical challenges.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and client requirements.
• Compile engineering data and prepare technical studies and reports.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses as required.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Deliver training and knowledge-sharing in areas of technical expertise.
• Coordinate project requirements with internal teams and external clients.
• Support multiple project responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM technologies.
• Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles, standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Professional registration/licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred, depending on project requirements.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment background screening, drug testing, and applicable motor vehicle record checks., * Previous data center design experience.
• Understanding of redundancy and resiliency requirements in mission-critical facilities.
• Knowledge of hyperscale, edge, and colocation data center environments.
• Advanced Autodesk Revit experience, including 3D modeling and custom family creation.
• Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit worksets, project phasing, and view templates.
• Familiarity with data center tier rating systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage data and metrics to improve project outcomes.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
