AI & Full-Stack Application Developer

Made in Voyage Consulting is looking for an exceptional AI & Full-Stack Application Developer who knows how to take an ambitious idea from a whiteboard and turn it into a working, scalable product.

We are not looking for a degree, a résumé full of buzzwords, or someone who only knows how to manage other developers.

We are looking for someone who can actually build.

If you spend your free time experimenting with new AI models, APIs, development frameworks, automation tools, and emerging technology-and you’re usually the person people come to when they say, “Is it possible to build something that does this?”-we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Be Building

This is not a maintenance role.

You’ll have the opportunity to help architect and develop technology from the ground up, including sophisticated internal business applications, AI-powered tools, workflow automation, integrations, web platforms, and customer-facing software.

You’ll work directly with leadership to take concepts from idea * architecture * prototype * production.

Projects may include:

Designing and developing full-stack web and mobile applications Building AI-powered features, agents, assistants, analytics, and automation Integrating third-party APIs and white-label software into unified platforms Developing secure backend systems, databases, dashboards, and internal tools Creating intelligent workflow and business-process automation Building and maintaining modern websites and digital properties Connecting multiple software platforms and data sources Rapidly prototyping new concepts and determining the best technology stack Managing multiple development projects simultaneously Taking ownership of products from initial concept through deployment and ongoing improvement, AI tools or automations you’ve created GitHub projects SaaS products Websites Internal business systems API integrations App Store launches Side projects that became real products Something technically difficult that you figured out because you refused to give up, Include links or examples of anything you have personally built-applications, websites, AI systems, GitHub repositories, automations, integrations, or other projects.

The ideal candidate has real-world, hands-on experience building software and is comfortable figuring out problems that don’t come with an instruction manual.

You should have strong experience with several of the following:

AI & Emerging Technology LLMs, AI APIs, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, RAG, AI automation, model integrations, structured outputs, function/tool calling, and modern AI development platforms.

Full-Stack Development Modern front-end and back-end development, APIs, databases, authentication, cloud infrastructure, deployment, and scalable application architecture.

Application Development Experience building production-ready applications from scratch. Experience successfully launching an application in the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store is a major plus.

Integrations & Automation The ability to connect CRMs, APIs, SaaS products, databases, communication platforms, and third-party or white-label systems into a cohesive product., Someone can explain a business problem or sketch an idea on a whiteboard, and you can begin determining how to actually make it work.

You’re comfortable owning projects, researching solutions, making technical recommendations, communicating with non-technical leadership, and managing several initiatives at once.

Starting Base Salary: $72,000/year
