ServiceNow ITAM Developer

Our client seeks a Mid-to-Senior Level ServiceNow ITAM Developer to design, develop, implement, and enhance enterprise asset management solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with ServiceNow platforms, IT Asset Management (ITAM), and integration with other enterprise systems., Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITAM solutions to meet business requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Integrate ITAM solutions with other enterprise systems and applications
• Customize and configure ServiceNow ITAM modules to meet specific client needs
• Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and business rules within ServiceNow
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ITAM solutions
• Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements
• Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery
• Document technical designs, configurations, and processes
• Mentor and guide junior developers as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration
• Proven experience with ServiceNow ITAM modules and solutions
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, GlideRecord)
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
• Familiarity with IT asset management best practices and frameworks
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Service Portal
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker)
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations
