Sr. ServiceNow Software Developer

Seeking a hands-on ServiceNow ITAM Consultant to build, automate, and operate HAM Pro and SAM Pro. This role focuses on creating a low-touch, API-driven ITAM capability with accurate, real-time asset and CMDB data across on-prem and cloud environments., · Configure and optimize HAM Pro and SAM Pro with strong automation focus · Build end-to-end asset lifecycle automation (request to retire) · Implement Discovery / ITOM Visibility, endpoint, and cloud integrations · Ensure CMDB and asset data accuracy aligned to CSDM · Develop API-first integrations with ERP, cloud, and security tools · Troubleshoot and improve platform performance, data quality, and workflows · Drive license optimization and asset lifecycle efficiency · Build dashboards for compliance, cost, and data health, · Automated, low-touch operations - minimal manual updates across the asset lifecycle · Full visibility across environments - on-prem, cloud, SaaS, and endpoints · Trusted, accurate CMDB and asset data - validated at the source, not patched later · Continuous license optimization - automated reclaim, right-sizing, and cost control · API-driven, integrated ecosystem - real-time connectivity with procurement, cloud, and security systems

· 10+ years IT experience; 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow ITAM · Strong expertise in: o SAM Pro (normalization, reconciliation, optimization) o HAM Pro (procurement, lifecycle, inventory) · Proven experience in CMDB data quality, automation, and integrations

Certifications (Required) · ServiceNow CSA · CIS - SAM and/or CIS - HAM · ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
