Software Support Technician II

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled software support technician to join our team in Springfield. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills and will play a crucial role in supporting the IT Manager in overseeing daily business operations and facilitating the growth of our company. This position is based on-site with flexible remote work options., * Provide technical support to customers experiencing software-related issues

• Troubleshoot and resolve software problems in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and fix bugs in the software
• Assist with software installations and upgrades for customers
• Document and track all support issues and resolutions
• Train customers on how to use the software effectively

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software support or a related field
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of database management systems and networking protocols
