Design Engineer

Visionary Innovation Siemens NX 3D Modeling Forklift Truck SolidWorks (CAD) Mechanical Design Project Management Release Engineering PTC Creo (CAD Suite) New Product Development Engineering Design Process, As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and updating components and systems to enhance product performance, resolve manufacturing or field issues, and ensure reliable lift truck operation. You will utilize 3-D CAD tools to model parts, develop design concepts, and support engineering changes from initial review through release. Collaborating with product development, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, you will select materials, review design options, and support new product launches or improvements. Additionally, you will prepare and release engineering change documentation and assist the plant in addressing product quality, compliance, and certification needs. Responsibilities

• Design and update components and systems to improve product performance.
• Resolve manufacturing or field issues to ensure reliable lift truck operation.
• Use 3-D CAD tools to model parts and develop design concepts.
• Support engineering changes from initial review through release.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to select materials and review design options.
• Support new product launches and current product improvements.
• Prepare and release engineering change documentation.
• Address product quality, compliance, and certification needs., This position offers a flexible work environment, with some tasks potentially performed remotely. You will work 4-10 hour days and be part of a team with significant tenure. The role involves designing custom-made forklift trucks, completing special one-off designs with rarely repeated projects. You will spend approximately 70% of your day working at a desk. • Proficiency in mechanical design and design engineering.
• Experience with Siemens NX, Solidworks, Creo, Autocad, and Catia.
• Strong background in project management and drafting.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and machine design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in engineering is preferred.
