Job description

On-site in either Norfolk, VA or San Diego, CA or Honolulu, HI Our client seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to focus on reliability, performance, and scalability of critical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available systems., * Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient systems

Monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks
Implement automated monitoring and alerting systems
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions
Collaborate with development teams to ensure system reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
Optimize system performance and resource utilization

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related field
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong understanding of networking and security principles
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, * Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts
