AI Application Developer

Our client is looking for a AI Application Developer to help design, build, and ship AI-powered features across our products. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and product stakeholders to integrate large language models (LLMs) into real applications - building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, prototyping agentic workflows, and turning AI capabilities into features people actually use. This is a hands-on role for someone with a couple years of engineering experience who wants to grow deeper into applied AI development., * Design, build, and maintain application features that integrate LLM APIs (e.g., Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) into existing and new products, under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Develop and support RAG pipelines and agentic workflows - including embedding, retrieval, and tool-use logic - and monitor the performance and output quality of these features in production.

• Build and consume backend APIs and services that connect AI functionality to front-end and downstream systems.

• Support deployment of AI-integrated services on cloud/PaaS platforms (e.g., Azure Web Apps, Function Apps) and contribute to CI/CD workflows.

• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to translate feature ideas into working AI-powered experiences and participate in code reviews and sprint planning.

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-4 years of relevant professional software development experience, demonstrating familiarity with standard application engineering concepts, practices, and procedures

• Solid proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to build and debug full application features end-to-end

• Hands-on experience (professional or personal projects) calling LLM APIs - Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or similar

• Understanding of REST/GraphQL API design and integrating third-party or internal services

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version-controlled deployment workflows

• Familiarity with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings such as Web Apps and Function Apps

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn quickly in a fast-moving AI landscape

• Good communication skills and comfort collaborating in a cross-functional team environment
