Job description

Implement and maintain cloud and edge infrastructure in AWS, with a primary focus on Kubernetes container orchestration and EKS.
Automate deployment pipelines and manage configuration states using Terraform and Ansible.
Develop automation utilities and tooling using Python, Bash, and Go to ensure high availability and scalability.
Administer Linux environments and support the integration of enterprise big data technologies., * Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (including EKS) as well as non-cloud edge and on-premise systems.
Automate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance service reliability and operational scalability.
Manage and maintain containerized workloads using Kubernetes and related orchestration platforms.
Write robust automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or Go within terminal-based Linux environments.
Provision and manage infrastructure as code utilizing tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Monitor production environments, identify system bottlenecks, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Support big data platforms and data stores such as Kafka, Spark, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
Collaborate across engineering teams in an Agile development environment, offering technical guidance and mentorship.
Maintain DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance (e.g., CompTIA Security+) and maintain an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
