Sr. Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Build and deploy AWS infrastructure from scratch using Terraform.

• Support the migration of applications and services into AWS environments.

• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and best practices.

• Integrate Terraform validation, security checks, and automation into CI/CD pipelines.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity or similar platforms for Node.js and .NET applications.

• Manage application artifact storage and deployment workflows utilizing Amazon S3.

• Implement container build, image tagging, and registry management processes.

• Configure and maintain AWS networking and security components, including:

o VPCs

o Subnets

o Security Groups

o IAM Roles & Policies

o Load Balancers

• Support Docker and Kubernetes-based deployment workflows.

• Partner with development teams to standardize application build and deployment processes.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across development, test, and production environments.

5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering or DevOps experience.

• Proven experience building AWS environments using Terraform.

• Experience supporting cloud migration or application modernization initiatives.

• Strong AWS experience with:

o EC2

o VPC

o IAM

o S3

o ALB

o CloudWatch

• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization.

• Experience working with Kubernetes.

• Working knowledge of Git workflows, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

• Familiarity with AWS CLI and SDKs.

• Experience supporting Node.js (npm) and .NET application deployment processes.

• Understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM design, and least-privilege access models.
