Enterprise Applications Manager

Take ownership of an enterprise applications landscape where you can shape technology direction rather than simply maintain existing systems. You will have the scope to build capability, influence strategy and develop your career within a complex Defence and Aerospace environment. Where you will be based The role is a permanent, full-time role based in Gloucestershire and is hybrid-working (3 days onsite). The role also involves some travel across the EMEA region as and when required. Your role

• Define and deliver the strategic roadmap for enterprise applications, aligning technology investment with business priorities
• Take ownership of the complete application lifecycle from selection and implementation through to optimisation and retirement
• Improve the reliability, availability and performance of critical business systems
• Build and develop a high-performing team of application specialists
• Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and external technology partners to deliver effective solutions
• Establish strong governance, security and compliance across the applications portfolio

• Broad technical understanding of enterprise environments such as ERP, PLM, BI and SaaS platforms
• Knowledge of integration technologies and enterprise tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ServiceNow and Atlassian products
• Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence across different business and technology functions
• Vendor management and project delivery experience
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical capability
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, production or secure environments would be advantageous

Essential requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance
• Proven senior-level experience in enterprise applications management or IT leadership
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application environments and their integration
• Experience leading teams and delivering outcomes across complex, matrixed organisations

A base salary in the region of £80,000 to £95,000 is on offer for this role. In addition you will receive:
