Data and CRM Officer

Reporting to the Database Manager, you’ll be a key member of our Data & CRM team, taking ownership of the day-to-day management of our Salesforce CRM platform. You’ll ensure data is accurate, compliant, accessible, and ready to support fundraising activities across the organisation

This is a role with genuine variety. One day you might be importing and cleansing large datasets, creating supporter selections or building insightful reports. The next, you’ll be helping colleagues get the most from Salesforce, improving a process through automation, or contributing to a CRM development project.

And when a DEC appeal launches, you’ll be at the heart of the action, helping manage a significant surge in donations and ensuring vital supporter data flows accurately and efficiently at pace., Please note we’re not responsible for the content of job ads, as they’re posted by the recruiter. We are looking for an exceptional Data & CRM Officer who combines technical expertise with curiosity, initiative and a commitment to quality. You will bring hands-on experience of CRM or database administration, with confidence in managing data imports, maintaining data quality, supporting users and producing reliable reports and insights. Comfortable working independently, you are proactive in identifying issues, improving processes and finding smarter ways of working

Ideal candidates are likely to have experience with Salesforce, charity-sector databases, data integration tools or reporting platforms such as Power BI, although we welcome applications from talented data professionals whose skills are transferable and who are keen to learn and develop within the role.

Some of the key criterion for this role include:

• Experience administering a CRM or database environment
• Strong Excel and data handling skills
• Experience with data imports, cleansing and user management
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
• The confidence to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection principles
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
