Software Developer (Java/Angular or Node/TypeScript)

Linchpin Software is looking for a Software Developer who is strong on the full stack: Java + Angular, or Node.js + TypeScript. You’ll build features on a large-scale, mission-critical application used every day, working with an Agile team that takes quality seriously.

We build software differently. Our developers use AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Codex, GitLab Duo) daily to debug faster, write better tests, and deliver more. You should already use AI in your workflow, or be eager to start.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, test, and deploy full-stack features from concept to production
• Build front ends in Angular (or a similar modern framework) and back ends in Java/Spring or Node.js/TypeScript
• Write clean, testable code and take part in code reviews
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate your work
• Work in an Agile team alongside engineers, architects, and mission stakeholders

• Active Top Secret clearance
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Java + Angular, OR Node.js + TypeScript
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools
• Ability to work full-time, on-site in Washington, DC (20024)

Preferred (big plus):

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• AWS experience
• SQL and relational databases

• Real impact on a large-scale mission application

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000, plus competitive benefits.
