About the company

Linchpin Software is a specialized software development firm supporting a federal agency in the National Capital Region. We are expanding our team and looking for a senior full stack software developer who is focused on delivering - someone who ships high-quality software, thrives across the entire stack, and takes ownership of getting features into the hands of users.

This is an opportunity to join a mature program while working alongside experienced engineers on mission-critical systems. The role spans a wide range of disciplines, with opportunities to work in UI technologies, server-side development, data ingest and pipelines, search, and user experience. We are looking for a versatile engineer who is excited to move fluidly between these areas and consistently deliver real, working software.

We are building software differently. AI is a core practice that drives how we work, and our team actively leverages AI-augmented development tools (such as coding agents) to accelerate delivery, streamline debugging, and improve overall engineering quality. The ideal candidate embraces code assistance and is eager to multiply their capabilities with modern tools.
