Slalom Flex (Project-Based) - Data Engineer

• 3+ years of data engineering experience with 1+ years of hands-on data pipeline design and development experience with Databricks
• Proficient in designing and building robust, scalable configuration driven data pipelines
• Proficiency in Big Data Platforms (apache spark, presto, Amazon EMR)
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Amazon redshift, snowflake, google BigQuery)
• Strong programming skills using SQL, Python, Java, etc
• Exposure with IaC tools such as terraform
• Familiarity with building DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to AI/ML tools such as MLflow, prompt engineering, modern data/AI agentic workflows, * Databricks Certification

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.For this role, the hourly pay range is $50/hr to $80/hr.Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
