Workday Security Analyst

Our client seeks a Workday Security Analyst to administer, audit, and optimize Workday security across HR, Payroll, Finance, Compliance, and IT stakeholders. The role will configure and maintain security policies and groups, govern access, support audits and compliance, troubleshoot complex security issues, and enable secure delivery of Workday enhancements and releases., * Configure, maintain, and support Workday security architecture.

• Manage Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security Policies, Role-Based and User-Based Security Groups, and Segregation of Duties controls.
• Review and approve security access requests.
• Perform user provisioning, role assignments, and access modifications.
• Maintain security documentation and role matrices.
• Conduct periodic access reviews and user recertifications.
• Monitor configurations for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Partner with Internal Audit, Compliance, HR, and IT Security during audits.
• Identify and remediate security risks, control gaps, and audit findings.
• Support SOX, GDPR, and related compliance initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve security issues and access concerns.
• Analyze incidents, recommend corrective actions, and perform root cause analysis.
• Support escalations related to security and business process access.
• Participate in implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Evaluate security impacts of changes and new functionality.
• Configure and test security changes to meet evolving requirements.
• Collaborate with functional, reporting, and integration teams to meet security needs.
• Review bi-annual releases for security impacts and conduct validation.
• Develop and execute security test plans and support UAT and deployments.
• Create and maintain security documentation, procedures, and standards.
• Develop reports and dashboards for access controls and compliance monitoring.
• Document security configurations and business process security designs.
• Recommend improvements and best practices.

• Strong knowledge of Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security Policies, Security Groups, Role-Based Access Controls, Segregation of Duties, and User Provisioning.
• Experience supporting Workday HCM and related modules.
• Knowledge of auditing, compliance, and security governance practices.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills with effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Preferred: Workday Pro Security Certification.
• Preferred: Experience with Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and Learning.
• Preferred: Understanding of SOX controls and audit requirements.
• Preferred: Experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields.
• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing platforms.
• Preferred: Prior HRIS or enterprise application support experience.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
