Ruby Developer

They are looking for a Ruby developer to join its core engineering team and help shape the next phase of the product. This isn’t a maintenance role - there’s a real roadmap of new features ahead, and AI capabilities are a key part of where the product is heading next. You will work across the stack, from backend logic and infrastructure to the TypeScript-powered front end, with plenty of say in how things get built., * Design, build, and maintain features in Ruby across the core platform

• Contribute to front-end work in TypeScript
• Help design and implement new AI-driven features, from concept to production
• Manage and deploy infrastructure on Azure, running on Linux
• Work with PostgreSQL for data modelling, queries, and performance
• Collaborate closely with a small, hands-on team including direct input into technical decisions
• Take ownership of features end-to-end, from idea to release

• Solid, hands-on experience with Ruby
• Comfortable working with TypeScript on the front end
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Azure
• Confident working in a Linux environment
• Strong PostgreSQL skills
• Curiosity about AI and a genuine interest in building AI-powered features, not just following a spec
• Someone who’s happy in a small team, where initiative and communication matter as much as code
• Based in or willing to commute to Mechelen
