Data Center Critical Facilities Technician

Our client is seeking experienced Installer Technicians (Levels II, III, and IV) to support large-scale hyperscale data center and telecom infrastructure projects across Texas. Due to significant growth and newly awarded business, the team is expanding to support multiple high-profile customers throughout the state.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with telecom installations, fiber infrastructure, rack-and-stack activities, equipment implementation, and data center deployments.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge network infrastructure projects involving some of the industry’s leading transport technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install and implement transport equipment in data center and telecom environments
• Perform rack and stack of transport, network, and telecom equipment
• Mount and secure hardware according to engineering specifications
• Install, route, terminate, clean, and test fiber optic cabling
• Complete copper and low-voltage cabling installations
• Perform equipment wiring and connectivity work
• Support power installation, power connections, and equipment integration
• Assist with equipment turn-up and commissioning activities
• Read and interpret installation drawings, rack elevations, and technical documentation
• Maintain installation quality standards and follow all site safety requirements

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Fujitsu 1FINITY transport equipment
• Experience with Ciena transport platforms
• Experience with Infinera transport equipment
• ISP, Carrier, Telecom, or Data Center environments
• Hyperscale Data Center deployments
• Fiber testing and troubleshooting
• Equipment commissioning and activation, * Installer Level II, III, or IV experience
• Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure and installation standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in active data center environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Allen, TX. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
