NC FAST Salesforce Developer

Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Child Welfare solutions on the Salesforce platform.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions.
• Customize and configure Salesforce, including creating/modifying objects, fields, workflows, and platform features.
• Develop and maintain Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and system integrations.
• Integrate Salesforce with other platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and system functionality.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment of Salesforce applications.
• Utilize Jira and Kanban boards to track and manage development activities and workflows.
• Conduct reviews/JAD sessions for requirements gathering and documentation.
• Analyze the impact of requirements on existing/proposed software and systems.
• Create system designs using sustainable design patterns and align with strategic direction.
• Prepare documentation, project plans, and resource projections as required.
• Troubleshoot code, applications, and data issues; resolve bugs using debugging tools.
• Monitor and support production applications for efficiency and improvement.
• Engage with business analysts, end-users, and team members to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
• Participate in technical committees and governance meetings.
• Write technical documentation, diagrams, and assist with training materials/user manuals.
• Maintain thorough documentation for development tasks, code, and configurations.
• Mentor team members, enforce peer review, and ensure adherence to standards and methodologies.
• Participate in system design/code walk-throughs and enforce security/privacy policies.
• Review and remediate security vulnerabilities within specified timeframes.
• Suggest and implement process optimizations and performance enhancements for Salesforce environment.
