Applications Engineer II

• Provide expert-level support to customers and channel partners by troubleshooting technical issues related to Mastercam products.\n
• Analyze customer workflows and recommend tailored solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.\n
• Serve as a technical resource for escalated customer inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.\n
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to provide customer feedback and insights for product enhancements.\n
• Test and validate new product features for compatibility and usability in real-world applications.\n
• Assist sales teams with product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proofs of concept.\n
• Support customers after the sale to promote successful implementation and adoption of Mastercam solutions.\n
• Develop custom toolpaths, templates, macros, technical documentation, and training materials.\n
• Deliver in-person and online training and hands-on product demonstrations for customers, channel partners, and internal teams.\n

• 3-5 years of experience in CAD/CAM programming, manufacturing, or application engineering.\n
• Hands-on experience with Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software.\n
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and manufacturing processes, including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.\n
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.\n
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\n
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including customer site visits, trade shows, and international events.\n, * Knowledge of machining processes and tooling.\n
• Experience with simulation software and post-processor customization.\n
• Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Salesforce and NetSuite.\n
