Wireless Solutions Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Wireless Solutions Architect for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of wireless technologies, RF engineering, and network architecture design. Rate Range: $50/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Wireless Solutions Architect Responsibilities include: Design and implement wireless network solutions, including Private 5G, CBRS, Wi-Fi, DAS, and IoT infrastructures. Analyze business and technical requirements to develop customized wireless architecture strategies. Perform RF planning, spectrum management, and network topology design to ensure optimal network performance. Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives. Ensure network security, regulatory compliance, and adherence to telecommunications standards. Develop technical documentation, integration plans, and performance optimization strategies for wireless deployments.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field. 5 to 7 years of experience in wireless network architecture, design, and implementation. Strong expertise in wireless communication protocols (LTE, NR, IEEE 802.11), RF planning, spectrum management, and network topology design. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver private 5G, CBRS, Wi-Fi, IoT, and enterprise wireless networking solutions in complex environments.
