As a .NET Developer, you will support the modernization of a mission-critical enterprise transaction platform undergoing transformation through microservices architecture and application modularization. Working within an Agile/Scrum environment, you will design, develop, and enhance backend services and APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale modernization initiatives involving cloud technologies, microservices, application performance optimization, and continuous delivery practices. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer with strong .NET expertise and a passion for building reliable enterprise applications., Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core and C#. Contribute to platform modernization efforts through microservices and modular application architecture. Collaborate with database developers to implement efficient and scalable data access solutions. Develop new application features and enhance existing functionality. Optimize application performance across various system layers. Integrate applications with Azure-based cloud services and components. Support build, deployment, and release processes through CI/CD pipelines. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning activities. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues. 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using .NET Core and C#. Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions. Experience integrating applications with SQL Server environments, including Azure-hosted databases. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices. Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tools for source control and CI/CD pipeline management. Hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments. Experience integrating backend applications with ETL solutions such as SSIS, Databricks, or similar platforms. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience building scalable, maintainable, and secure enterprise applications. Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies is preferred. Knowledge of domain-driven design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems concepts is desirable. Experience supporting high-availability environments and enterprise-scale systems is a plus. Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
