Job description

Serve as a Salesforce Application Senior Developer to support the development and implementation of a Salesforce-based Child Care Provider Portal for NC FAST.

Revamp the existing Curam Child Care Provider Portal using Salesforce to enhance functionality and improve user experience for the Child Care Subsidy Program.
Compile requirements and manage the overall development and product management of the Salesforce Provider Portal.
Manage risks and issues related to design choices and application development.
Support the definition and configuration of user roles, profiles, security settings, access settings (including User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules, and Security).
Identify opportunities for application optimization, integration, redesign, or further development.
Design applications to support business processes and reporting requirements.
Utilize knowledge of Salesforce development environments and deployment/change management options on the Lightning Platform.
Identify production risks and areas for improvement in the Salesforce environment.
Update and develop custom validations and/or code as needed based on business requirements.
Support ongoing configuration updates and maintenance of the Salesforce environment.

Requirements

Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, and Platform Developer II Certifications.

5+ years’ experience with Salesforce Platform Community, Service Cloud, and Gov Cloud.
5+ years’ experience with SOQL and SOSL.
7+ years’ experience with Salesforce Shield and Lightning.
7+ years’ experience with object-oriented programming languages (Apex, Java, JavaScript, C#, Ruby).
7+ years’ experience with MVC and component-based architecture.
7+ years’ experience with requirements analysis and business process design.
