Information Security Engineer

• Evaluate technology and security operations to identify system needs, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Gather and translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for engineering and development teams
• Serve as a liaison between business users, cybersecurity teams, and technical stakeholders
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of system and security-related issues
• Support cybersecurity initiatives focused on insider risk, data protection, incident response, and security monitoring
• Assist with the development and improvement of security controls, investigative processes, and monitoring capabilities
• Analyze security events and operational data to identify potential risks or areas requiring investigation
• Coordinate cross-functional security initiatives and maintain visibility into project status, issues, and deliverables
• Support regulatory, governance, and compliance requirements related to security operations
• Develop documentation, reporting, and recommendations that support informed security and technology decisions

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, security analysis, incident response, insider risk, or a related discipline
• Experience supporting insider threat, data loss prevention, security monitoring, or investigative programs
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Experience coordinating technical or cybersecurity projects across multiple stakeholder groups
• Knowledge of security monitoring, endpoint protection, identity management, and privileged access concepts
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical, investigative, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong documentation and issue-tracking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive issues through resolution

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
