Job description
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Foreman to lead structured cabling and infrastructure installation projects in mission-critical environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can supervise crews, maintain high quality standards, and keep projects on schedule in active data centers. What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise data center technicians on structured cabling projects
- Oversee cable pulling, routing, dressing, termination, and testing (copper & fiber)
- Read and interpret blueprints, rack elevations, and cable schedules
- Coordinate daily work activities and ensure productivity targets are met
- Enforce safety standards and conduct job site safety briefings
- Ensure installations meet TIA/EIA and company quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for project managers and clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of structured cabling/data center experience
- 2+ years in a foreman or crew lead role
- Strong knowledge of copper and fiber optic installation practices
- Experience working in live data center environments
- Ability to manage crews, timelines, and multiple priorities
- OSHA 10/30 preferred
- BICSI certification preferred
