Job description

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability, and supporting business-critical applications and services., * Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, and cloud-related issues.

Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance stability and reliability.
Maintain servers, applications, and system configurations.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes.
Support hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve technical issues.
Document support activities and maintain accurate records.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in systems administration, technical support, cloud operations, or a similar IT role.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows systems, networking, and enterprise applications.
Experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL Server, and virtualization.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
Experience supporting hybrid (cloud and on-premises) environments.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and service management processes.
Relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in regulated industries.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy standards.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Power Platform, or AI productivity tools.

Working Conditions

Primarily remote with occasional on-site work as needed.
Standard business hours with flexibility based on operational needs.
Requires prolonged computer use and the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.
