SAP Application Architect

As an SAP Application Architect in the Customer Competence Center, you are part of a strong team that works holistically on exciting and challenging projects for one of T-Systems Austria’s largest customers. Together with over 40 dedicated colleagues, you develop tailor-made IT solutions - from standard to custom software - and ensure smooth operation and continuous development. Thanks to our unique combination of internal expertise and strong external partnerships, you will work with us to create innovative, sustainable and customer-focused IT solutions that offer real added value. Tasks:

• Responsibility for the technical and technical development of the existing SAP system landscape with two SAP ECC systems and one SAP S/4HANA system
• Technical coordination of the existing SAP team with 10 colleagues as well as close cooperation with the development teams of other subsystems within the customer center and with the customer
• In-depth familiarization with existing customer-specific SAP processes and in-house developments (Z developments) as well as understanding of the underlying functional and technical logic
• Support in creating and evaluating solution and implementation concepts based on the customer’s technical requirements
• Support for transformation and modernization projects, in particular when migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA
• Ensuring compliance with architecture standards as well as the quality, scalability and maintainability of implemented solutions
• Design and evaluation of integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Technical advice on the selection of suitable technologies and solutions within the specified system architecture
• Ensuring a comprehensive technical view of SAP transportation as well as change and release management

• Several years of professional experience in an SAP environment, ideally in an architecture or senior development role
• Basic knowledge of ABAP and enhancement technologies
• Knowledge of the FICA, SD and CRM SAP modules and a good understanding of integrated SAP processes
• Profound experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, ideally in transformation and migration projects
• Strong understanding of SAP architectures, interfaces, and SAP/non-SAP integrations
• Experience with customer-specific SAP processes and Z developments as well as a good technical understanding of ABAP-based solutions
• Experience in the technical coordination of SAP teams and in working with developers, departments and customers
• Good knowledge of SAP transport, change and release management
• Analytical and structured way of working as well as excellent communication and coordination skills
• Very good German and English skills
