Systems and Data Administrator

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and solutions-focused Systems and Data Administrator to join our team and take responsibility for the technology, systems and data that support our organisation.

This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll provide hands-on IT support across the organisation, keep our systems secure and effective, work with colleagues and external suppliers, and play a key role in exploring how technology can improve the lives of the people we support. What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of Style Acre’s IT and technology, including:

• Managing the supply, installation, maintenance and repair of IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, servers, tablets and mobile phones.
• Supporting CCTV, home automation, assistive technology and sensory technology.
• Managing Microsoft 365 and other organisational software.
• Managing broadband, Wi-Fi and network infrastructure across our properties, working alongside our IT partners.
• Providing technical support to colleagues and the people we support.
• Working with suppliers and technical support teams to resolve issues and develop solutions.
• Maintaining accurate hardware and software inventories, user accounts and access arrangements.
• Supporting the security of our systems and helping ensure our data is managed appropriately and in line with current legislation.
• Providing some programming and technical support for the Style Acre website.
• Supporting technology-related projects and organisational development.
• Managing the disposal of redundant and outdated technology securely and responsibly.

Technology for Independence

One of the most exciting parts of this role is managing our Technology for Independence project.

You’ll work with colleagues and our Senior Leadership Team to regularly review how technology can support the people we support, helping us make the most of developments in assistive, sensory and other technologies.

You’ll also support people working within the Style Acre IT department, helping them develop their skills and contribute meaningfully to our organisation. Looking to the future
