Your new company
A growing project-based organisation operating across Wales is seeking an experienced Project Information Coordinator to join its team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting information governance, document management and compliance activities across a portfolio of long-term projects.
Your new role
As Information Manager & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for supporting information management and document control activities across a range of projects, ensuring information is managed effectively and in accordance with organisational standards and project requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining document management systems and collaboration platforms
- Ensuring effective document control, version management and information traceability
- Conducting regular audits of project documentation, metadata and compliance processes
- Producing compliance reports and supporting corrective action plans where required
- Coordinating project information exchanges and ensuring documentation is issued and received in a timely manner
- Supporting project teams throughout all stages of project delivery
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure information requirements are met
- Developing and maintaining document control plans, registers and tracking systems
- Supporting change control processes and ensuring project records are maintained effectively
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and best practice
What youâll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have experience within information management, document control or similar project-based environments, together with a strong understanding of structured information management principles.
You will demonstrate:
- Experience working within construction, engineering, property, facilities management or other project-led environments
- Experience administering document management systems, collaboration platforms or Common Data Environments
- Strong understanding of document control, version control and data governance principles
- Knowledge of information management processes, metadata standards and document workflows
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining information accuracy
- The ability to identify process improvements and implement best practice
Desirable experience includes:
- Experience working within complex project environments
- Experience using Common Data Environment or document management platforms
- Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Information Management, Construction, Engineering or a related discipline
- Professional document control qualifications such as CDC certification
