Mid-Level Microsoft Power Platform / Power Apps Developer

Seeking a Mid-Level Power Apps Developer to support a government digital modernization project focused on replacing manual and legacy processes with secure, scalable Microsoft Power Platform solutions. The developer will build and support applications involving data management, workflow automation, calculations, reporting, notifications, approvals, and electronic records. Key Responsibilities

• Develop Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Build automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Design and manage data using Dataverse and SharePoint.
• Automate manual data entry, approvals, notifications, reporting, and business processes.
• Develop business rules, calculations, validations, and exception handling.
• Integrate applications with APIs using JSON and REST services.
• Use Power Fx and JavaScript for advanced application functionality.
• Support testing, UAT, deployment, production support, and enhancements.
• Follow government security, audit, data protection, and application governance standards.
• Maintain technical and application documentation.

• 3+ years of application development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience.
• Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
• Power Fx and JavaScript experience.
• REST API and JSON integration experience.
• Relational database and data-modeling knowledge.
• Experience with application deployment, testing, and UAT.
• Ability to convert manual business processes into automated workflows.

Preferred

• Government or regulated-industry project experience.
• Power Platform security, DLP, and governance knowledge.
• Experience modernizing legacy or manual applications.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Power Platform Solutions, and deployment pipelines.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
