Job description
An industry leading medical device manufacturer is seeking a skilled Team Lead to join their team. The Team Lead, Technical Operator is a hands-on production leader responsible for operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment while providing daily direction and support to a team of Technical Operators. This role ensures production goals, quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance are consistently achieved in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong machine operation experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement., * Lead daily production activities and coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Operate, set up, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Train, coach, and support Technical Operators on equipment, processes, safety, and quality requirements.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance to ensure productivity and compliance goals are met.
- Identify and escalate equipment, process, and quality issues while supporting corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, GDP, SOPs, FDA regulations, and company policies.
- Complete and review production documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to support operational efficiency.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required., * 5+ years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience leading, training, or mentoring employees.
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development abilities.
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP, FDA, and ISO requirements.
- Ability to prioritize work and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
