Special Risks Design Engineer

ResponsibilitiesEnsure designs are produced to a high quality, are compliant with the relevant standards and meet necessary timescales, while maintaining a professional relationship with clients, team members and sub-contractors.ResponsibilitiesProduction and design responsibility of special risks projects’ drawings and coordination models.Production of hydraulic calculations.Onsite surveying, where necessary.Attend coordination meetings within the wider clients’ task team.Carry out checks to ensure designs are complaint to the relevant standards and project specifications.Mentor junior members of the design department.Essential ExperienceMinimum of 5 Years experience in the design of special risks projects.Must be experienced in producing technical drawings in AutoCAD and Revit sheets.Experience in the production of the hydraulic calculations using the Canute FHC design software.QualificationsKnowledge of LPC Sprinkler Rules is essential.Minimum of, LCPB Basic Design Qualification.LPCB
