Payment Markets Network Analyst - Connect

• We provide first-line support, partner escalation and incident management across the TNS network.
• We monitor and support our global payments network, maintaining high availability and providing timely resolutions and quality assurance for customers.
• We work with colleagues to support a diverse range of incidents and issues and meet service availability SLAs.
• We provide 24/7/365 operational support on a 12-hour day/night shift rota.
• We monitor and manage the Global TNS Payments network, including network connectivity and performance.
• We monitor and troubleshoot Linux servers hosting our payment application tools and troubleshoot the IP transport network.
• We log service incidents in our incident management system and manage assigned tickets through to resolution, providing timely escalation, communication and updates throughout each incident.
• We work with internal technical support groups and third-party organisations to resolve service incidents.
• We support post-incident impact analysis and change-management activities.

• We require previous experience working in a network operations centre or technical support role.
• We require experience with a ticketing system for fault tracking, such as ServiceNow or Salesforce.
• We require experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
• We require experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGates, FortiSwitch hardware, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• We require an understanding of SD-WAN and cloud-based solutions such as AWS and Azure.
• We require experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• We require an understanding of IP routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPF.
• We value an analytical approach to fault-finding and the ability to diagnose network problems.
• We value a tenacious, inquisitive approach to investigations and corrective action.
• We require good organisational and time-management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and effective communication with local and remote colleagues.
• We consider payments industry knowledge desirable.
• We consider an understanding of TLS/SSL protocols, including SSL certification, key exchange and certificate authorities, desirable.
• We consider an understanding of cellular radio (3G/4G) and roaming operations desirable.
• We consider knowledge of internet-based operations, including DNS, CDN, VPN and IPSEC protocols, desirable.
• We consider experience with network monitoring and event-management systems such as SolarWinds, Splunk and ThousandEyes desirable.
• We consider ITIL knowledge or a foundation certification desirable.
