Data Center Facility Operations Specialist (Non-IT) III

Our client, a leading organization in data center operations, is seeking a Cable Installation Specialist to join their team. As a Cable Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining copper and fiber cabling infrastructure, supporting network connectivity across mission-critical environments, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure high-performance telecommunications systems are deployed with precision and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting., * Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect, and troubleshoot cabling

• Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords
• Ensure that the Data Center and vendor installations comply with all installation practices
• Manage work and priorities through a ticketing system to complete customer requests and projects
• Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain site cleanliness
• Perform cable and fiber equipment installation and maintenance across various environments
• Support low voltage cabling and network infrastructure, ensuring proper layout and connectivity

• Telecommunication systems expertise and familiarity with industry standards
• Information Technology (IT) systems knowledge, including basic troubleshooting and integration
• Cable and Fiber Equipment installation and maintenance experience.
• Experience with low voltage (copper/fiber) cabling and network infrastructure
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals in various situations
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and apply new technology
