Manager, Simulation Program, SOM

The Simulation Program Manager (SIM PM) leads the operations of the Simulation Center which includes scheduling oversight, equipment management and policy administration. This role oversees direct reports on the SIM center team. This role establishes the schedule for the SIM center through collaboration with the other schools and programs utilizing this shared space. This role works closely with the HMSOM Clinical Skills program in the development of the curriculum with regard to resources and technical capabilities., Inquiries about Title IX and its applicability may be referred to HMSOM’s Title IX Coordinator, the Office of Civil Rights, or both.

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be able to establish, implement and operationalize processes and apply a system-based approach.
• Ability to effectively manage all daily communications as well as documents and reports regarding administrative aspects of the clerkship curriculum.
• Must be adept at multitasking, keeping extremely organized and detailed.
• Must have ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in team management and oversight.

• Education and Certifications: Level of education attained, including specialized certifications, credentials, completed apprenticeship programs or advanced training.

• Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.
• Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

Minimum rate of $97,011.20 Annually
