Functional Expert- Commercial Systems - Senior Assignment

Lead strategic sourcing projects and supplier negotiations for packaging categories.

Manage supplier relationships and drive value creation, cost savings, and supply continuity.

Analyze spend, pricing, market trends, and commercial data to support sourcing decisions.

Develop, negotiate, and execute contracts and commercial agreements.

Maintain accurate pricing models, forecasts, and sourcing-related data.

Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Finance teams.

Support process improvements, sourcing transformation initiatives, and commercial effectiveness activities.

Track and deliver sourcing projects against timelines and business commitments.

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager - Packaging to lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and commercial strategies for packaging categories. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, packaging procurement expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment., Bachelor’s degree required.

5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience.

Minimum 2 years of packaging sourcing experience.

Proven supplier negotiation and contract management experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with forecasting, budgeting, PPV, and commercial analysis.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

FMCG/CPG industry experience.

Experience sourcing direct materials in manufacturing environments.

SAP experience.

Cost modeling or should-cost analysis experience.

Commodity/index-based pricing experience.

Exposure to regional or global sourcing organizations.

Pay Details: $98.50 per hour
