Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Systems Manager to join our client on a temporary basis for a minimum of 2 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and solutions-driven professional with a strong background in business systems, process improvement, and stakeholder management.

You will be responsible for overseeing and optimising key business systems, ensuring they effectively support operational and strategic objectives. Working closely with internal teams and external providers, you will identify opportunities for improvement, manage system enhancements, and provide expert support to users across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain core business systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Act as the primary point of contact for system-related queries and issues
  • Identify and implement system improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend solutions
  • Coordinate system updates, upgrades, testing, and integrations
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials
  • Monitor data integrity and ensure compliance with organisational policies
  • Liaise with external software providers and third-party vendors
  • Produce management reports and system performance insights
  • Provide training and support to end users across the business

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Business Systems Manager, Systems Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of business applications, databases, and system integrations
  • Experience managing projects and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Advanced IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and various business systems
  • A collaborative and proactive approach with excellent stakeholder management skills

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive hourly rate of £21.00 - £28.00 per hour
