Job DescriptionSenior Hardware Systems Engineer (Contract) - Portsmouth (Broad Oak) A leading organisation in the defence and security sector is looking for a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer to join their team on-site at Broad Oak, Portsmouth. This is a contract role supporting complex maritime programmes, covering hardware design, test, installation and in-service engineering support. we’re looking for (essential) Experience in a hardware engineering domain Experience developing equipment using COTS hardware components Good understanding of blade and PC-based technologies Proactive, can-do approach with flexibility to support across the team Desirable experience Working in a large, complex multi-project environment COTS enclosures (units/cabinets), design, wiring schedules, power distribution Background in defence or another highly regulated industry Qualifications Academic qualification in Engineering (or related STEM) Professional registration is advantageous
