Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Systems & Reporting Analyst to join a busy People & Culture function in Manchester.

This is a specialist HR systems position requiring someone who has developed their career within operational HR before moving into HR systems, data and reporting.

You will take responsibility for HR systems administration, reporting and data insights while supporting managers and colleagues across the organisation., * Act as the HR systems and reporting Subject Matter Expert across the organisation.

  • Manage and maintain IRIS Cascade, including system administration, housekeeping and improvements.
  • Produce HR data sets, reports and KPI information for the wider business.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, turning HR data into meaningful business insights.
  • Analyse HR information and develop reports and papers for the Executive Team.
  • Improve HR system workflows, processes and automation.
  • Produce user guides, process documentation and training materials.
  • Deliver systems training to new colleagues and managers.
  • Support HR system audits and implement recommendations.
  • Ensure HR systems and processes comply with relevant UK requirements.
  • Provide regular and bespoke reports to People Business Partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Support wider HR operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with IRIS Cascade.
  • Previous operational HR experience, having moved into HR systems and reporting as a specialism.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Strong experience using Power BI and working with HR data sets.
  • Ability to develop dashboards and provide meaningful insights from HR data.
  • Experience producing reports and papers suitable for senior/Executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience creating user guides and process documentation.
  • Confidence delivering systems training to colleagues and managers.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who understands HR from an operational perspective but has developed strong technical expertise in HR systems, reporting and people data.

You’ll be confident working independently with IRIS Cascade and Power BI, analysing complex information and translating HR data into clear insights that senior management can use to make informed decisions.
