Job description

As a Principal Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for the design, deployment, optimization, and evolution of telecom and core network environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability across mission-critical systems., * Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of telecom and core network solutions.

  • Support and optimize mobile and fixed network core infrastructure.
  • Develop network strategies aligned with business and technology objectives.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide advanced technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendor teams on network projects.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to network architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and design specifications.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in capacity planning, network performance analysis, and reliability initiatives.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Scalability?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Significant experience in telecommunications and core network engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile core networks, IP networking, routing, switching, and transport technologies.
  • Experience with network design, deployment, and operational support in carrier-grade environments.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and technologies including LTE, 5G, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and VPN technologies.
  • Experience working with telecommunications equipment vendors and multi-vendor environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead technical projects and influence engineering decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 5G Core (5GC) architectures and cloud-native telecom platforms.
  • Familiarity with virtualization, SDN, NFV, and containerized network functions.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in automation and network orchestration technologies.
